HOSTESS DUTIES

• Lead Hostess should make arrangements to pick up the two supply tubs from
  Patricia Hathcock, 601-981-7861 (h) or 601-988-8096 (c), 2314 East Manor Drive, Jackson.
  
  
• Please note the meeting location. This year all meetings will be at the Mississippi Children’s Museum Education Center except for the May meeting which will be at the home of Pryor Lampton, 2471 Eastover Drive, Jackson.
  
  
• The two supply tubs contain assorted items such as sugar, Splenda, one pitcher, beverage napkins, cold beverage cups, compostable coffee cups, coffee, a 30-cup coffee pot, two thermos bottles, etc.
  
  
• Host Committee is responsible for food, flowers, tablecloths, decorative napkins, coffee creamer or half and half, and all desired drinks including coffee.
  The Children’s Museum will not provide coffee so the Hostess Committee will need to provide coffee, water, and ice for each meeting. “To go” coffee can be ordered from Cups or Broad Street, as well as other nearby coffee shops, or the Host Committee may elect to use the Club’s coffee pot and make coffee before the meeting. The Host Committee shares the expenses.
  
  
• We are trying to “go green” as much as possible so please bring your own glass or china plates/cups or use biodegradable products in supply box. Also, Erica Speed has offered to loan us her glass plates.
  
  
• The Lead Hostess may choose to assign specific foods and drinks or allow the Host Committee to bring foods of their choice. It is up to the Host Committee to decide if a theme is used, i.e., Valentine’s Day, etc.

MEETING SET-UP/TAKE-DOWN:

Patricia Hathcock (601-981-7861/601-988-8096) will submit a floor plan to Cynthia Till at the Children's Museum, a week prior to each meeting. Please communicate with Patricia regarding any special needs you may have.

Above all, please make sure the meeting site is left in good shape. A Hostess List for each month will be available in each supply tub. Please return both supply tubs to Patricia Hathcock or to the next Lead Hostess on the list.
